Dear Customers,

Welcome to Gum Tree Farm Specialty Nursery!

We are dedicated gardeners with many years of middle Tennessee gardening experience. We have been testing the latest varieties of many plants at this site for twenty years.

Our goal is simple: We hope to present a selection of quality plants of horticultural merit to spice up your garden.

We have extensive gardens featuring the “New American Style” of gardening. "What is the New American Style?" you ask. It has more textural plants often including flowering shrubs, evergreens and grasses to create rhythms and areas that flow, plants that change color with the seasons, and sway with the breeze.

Our gardens feature many of the plants we now offer for sale.

While the industry is busting at the seams with many new introductions, often they are hard to find, and frequently they do not prove tough enough for our area. We are always seeking new plants to test before we can recommend them to you, the consumer.

Ornamental grasses have been a growing focus in our personal gardens. We have been using and promoting grasses and grasslike plants since the mid eighties. Consider letting us contract grow them for you.

We look forward to the chance to serve you!

Stephen and Susan Felts, Owners
